Frequently Asked Questions

A

Some types of insurance are a legal requirement to protect you and your business. Others may not be compulsory but are advisable to protect you in the event of a claim.  Insurance packages that appear to be cheaper can sometimes be a false economy if they do not provide appropriate cover. For example, if you don't have the necessary protection and an incident occurs, you could be liable to pay costs or compensation - which could cost your business dearly. Therefore, it makes sense to match your insurance protection to your requirements so you have peace of mind that your business' financial security would not be affected in the event of a claim.

If you're unsure about the cover you need for your business, an expert like an insurance broker who understands the market, and the products inside out is invaluable.

Most brokers will also be able to provide you with impartial advice as they are not tied to any one insurer. This means they can shop around for you to find the best cover for your needs at a competitive price.

A

Most insurers will recognise a risk that has a good claims experience and will discount accordingly.
